Chicago Blackhawks Set Franchise Record at 10 Straight Wins

Posted: March 5, 2013 in News, News, Today in Hawks History

The Chicago Blackhawks made history tonight as they won for the 10th straight game – the first time in the entire 86 year history of the franchise.

They did so as they knocked off the Minnesota Wild at the United Center to improve their (also historic) point-streak to 23 games (20 – 0 – 3). Bickell (2), Saad, Hossa, and Kane scored in the 5 – 3 victory at the Madhouse, which was also Marian Hossa’s 1,001st game in the National Hockey League.

It’s always great seeing the Madhouse Gang play, but these numbers are especially significant and record-setting.

Go Hawks!
